The free program will take place on Tuesday, June 4, at 6 p.m. in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium at the Two Mississippi Museums—the Museum of Mississippi History and Mississippi Civil Rights Museum.
A new program at the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum will highlight music genres that originated in Mississippi. The first of the museum’s Field to Funk series will take place on Tuesday, April 2, at 6 p.m. in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium at the Two Mississippi Museums.

The program will take place on Thursday, March 21, at 6 p.m. in This Little Light of Mine gallery.
The Museum of Mississippi History, the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum, and the Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life will host the Mississippi Freedom Seder on Tuesday, April 16, at 6 p.m. in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium at the Two Mississippi Museums. Open to all, this participatory program will feature the rituals, readings, songs, and ceremonial food of the Passover tradition. A dinner will follow.
