Preservation Tools Online

A new public research tool for historic and cultural resource preservation has been launched online at preservationdirectory.com. An online gallery of photographs of historic buildings is included; submitted photos are welcome.

The National Trust has posted a new feature, Preservation 911, which will post information that might be of help to Trust members.

The Great American Station Foundation's redesigned site features news about station revitalization projects, book reviews, useful reports and technical information, plus more.

The New Hampshire State Historic Preservation Office has posted Tools for Preserving Barns. Its many links provide connections to a wide range of resources and programs regarding technical assistance, grants, and tax incentives.

The application process for the Save America's Treasures grant program of the National Park Service is easier with the guidelines offered on the NPS Web site. The deadline for the next round of applications is mid-March.

Southernhistory.net is dedicated to online research and publication of papers, books, and book reviews on southern history.
