The MDAH Basics of Records Management training program was developed to educate state agency staff on basic records management, electronic records, and the services that MDAH provides. The program includes:

  • Records identification and appraisal
  • Records storage solutions
  • Solutions to electronic records issues
  • Microforms vs. digital images
  • Open records laws
  • Litigation holds
  • Info on how the State Records Center and Government Records staff can assist you in the disposition of temporary and permanent records

The sessions are held at the William Winter building at 200 North St. and take approximately two-and-a-half hours to complete. There is currently one scheduled session for 2013:

  • June 11: 8:30 a.m.
