February 25-August 18, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Eudora Welty Education and Visitors Center.  Understanding the Medusa: Myth and Fairytale in the Fiction of Eudora Welty.  The exhibit will examine the influence of myth and fairytale in Eudora Welty's life and fiction, with emphasis on the myth of Perseus and Medusa and the fairytale “The Robber Bridegroom.”  The exhibit will feature artist Barry Moser’s illustrations of Welty’s novel The Robber Bridegroom, and excerpts from her correspondence and manuscripts, including the short story collection The Golden Apples.  For more information call 601-353-7762.
