Docent
Program Tours
of the Governor's Mansion are conducted by trained volunteer docents who graciously
donate their time to interpret the Mansion to visitors. Docents are required to
complete a comprehensive training program through the Mississippi Department of
Archives and History, and to be willing to give tours two mornings a month. Docents
provide an extremely valuable service of interpreting the Mansion to the public.
Individuals interested in becoming docents may contact the Mansion curator at
(601) 359-6421 for more information.
