Image Arrangement and NumberingThe photographic curator arranged the materials in the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Collection into series and numbered the materials within each series in the order in which they were received from the MFBF Public Affairs Office. Technical DetailsDigital Photographs: The original scans of the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation were made by the Image & Sound Section staff in 2011-2012, according to the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Board of Trustees' approved imaging procedures, following ANSI/AIIM recommended practice. The black-and-white photographs were scanned as uncompressed, 8-bit Grayscale TIFF files at 600 pixels per inch and the color photographs were scanned as uncompressed, 24-bit RGB TIFF files at 600 pixels per inch. Conversion: The Electronic Archives staff converted the TIFF files to JPEG files for Internet access in 2011-2012. Suggested Bibliographic CitationMDAH suggests that citations for images from the Web-enabled version of the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Collection include the following elements: collection name, unique image no., agency name, date of last web page revision, < Image URL > (date viewed). Rights ManagementAll copyright interests held by Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation were transferred to MDAH upon donation of the collection; images from federal agencies are in the public domain. MDAH asks that each image used in a presentation, display, or publication be accompanied by the following credit statement: Copy AvailabilityHigh-resolution TIFFs and copy prints of the images may be purchased from MDAH.
