Image Arrangement and Numbering
The photographic curator (and donor), Jeff Rogers, maintained the original, chronological, order of the photographs when he numbered the prints.
Digital Photographs: The original scans of the Hurricane Katrina Photographs were made by the Image & Sound Section staff in August 2010, according to the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Board of Trustees' approved imaging procedures, following ANSI/AIIM recommended practice. The images were scanned as uncompressed, 24-bit RGB TIFF files at 600 pixels per inch.
Conversion: For Web display, the original scans of the Hurricane Katrina Photographs were converted to JPEG images in August 2010.
