Image Arrangement and Numbering
The photographic curator numbered the photographic materials in the Hargrove (Ralph) Photograph Collection in the roughly chronological order in which they were received from Mrs. Hargrove.
Digital Photographs: The original scans of the Hargrove (Ralph) Photograph Collection were made by the Image & Sound Section staff in 2011, according to the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Board of Trustees' approved imaging procedures, following ANSI/AIIM recommended practice. The black-and-white photographs were scanned as uncompressed, 8-bit Grayscale TIFF files at 600 pixels per inch.
Conversion: The Electronic Archives staff used Zoomify to convert the TIFF files to 8-bit Grayscale JPEG files for access in 2011. Flash Player version 6 or later is required to view the Zoomify interface for the JPEG images.
