"Mississippi, known far and wide for her dairying activities, also is a big producer of meats of the marketing varieties. Beef cattle are to be found in fine herds in northern as well as the southern sections of the state - but stock raising is not confined to beef, for sheep, raised for wool and meat, as well as swine are important to the State.
