The Mississippi Office of the State Treasurer is responsible for the issuance of state debt, the timely payment of principal and interest on the state's bond and note obligations, and receiving, disbursing and investing state funds. The State Treasurer compiles a financial report each fiscal year (July–June). The Department of Archives and History has electronic (PDF) reports from 2001.
