Mississippi Division of Medicaid

Series 2797: History Files: Agency, 2007-2011

The series contains two histories of the agency; a 2007 report to the Medicaid Appropriations Sub-Committee; eOrientation slides for new employees; a 2011 timeline of the division's events; and photographs documenting a February 2010 move to new headquarters, a February 2010 snowstorm in downtown Jackson, April 2010 tornado damage to the Yazoo City Regional Office, an April 2011 recording session for a radio spot at Mississippi Public Broadcasting, and a June 2011 Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program awards event. Medicaid is a program jointly funded by the federal and state governments to provide health coverage for individuals whose income and resources are insufficient to pay for it. Electronic copies of the agency history files were transferred by the Division of Medicaid Public Relations Office in 2011. Access copies are provided here as JPEG and PDF files.
